Benjamin had a 12" bike since he was one and half. Not until he was 3 and 1/2, the training wheels are necessicities. One day, I took these training wheels off and encouraged Benjamin try a ride. On the way to playground, my neighbor saw us. 10 minutes later, my neighbor saw Benjamin rode back home along, he was amazed.
Now Benjamin is a 3 months older than 4, we decide to try something new. We upgraded his bike to a 16", his feet bearly reach the ground when sitting on the new bike. Once he found the feeling of balance, Benjamin and the bike are moving smoothly. Yeah! he really loves the new bike because he can ride much faster then the smaller one.
Today after the school, Benjamin and I went to Sport Authority and bought a head light and a tail light. We installed both on the bike and gave it a ride in the park in the dark night, Benjamin was very excited.
Kids appreciate stuffs more than adults, even a head and tail light makes them really excited.
